Our main goals are:
- To contribute to the maintainance and the increase in quality in development cooperation by high-level research and education
- To contribute to the education of and to provide information to the students at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in the field of international forestry (Lectures are prepared for the department of environmental sciences and NADEL - Post-graduate courses in development- and transformation countries).
- To exchange experiences concerning the sustainable use of forest resources and services in the tropics and eastern transition countries.
