Resilience through Learning and Collaboration in the Cardamom Mountains (Cambodia)

ForDev is invited to join a Global Resilience Partnership project in Cambodia.

external pageGERES Cambodia  has submitted the project REFLECT - Resilience Enhancement by Fostering Learning, Empowerment, Collaboration and Transfer – to the external pageGlobal Resilience Partnership. The aim of the project is to design and disseminate participatory resilience modeling and simulation tools on the buffer zones of the Cardamom Mountains in Cambodia. Lessons learnt there will have potential for replication and scaling up across the Mekong basin and Southeast Asia, where deforestation is driving landscape dynamics.

ForDev has been invited to join the project team, to bring our expertise on transdisciplinarity, participatory modelling and scenario building. Anne Dray, Patrick Waeber and Claude Garcia are part of the consortium. We’ll find out in January if the proposal is successful. Fingers crossed!
