Research
We are interested in questions regarding the protection and sustainable management of multifunctional forests in subtropical and tropical landscapes. Our studies include a variety of different topics such as silvicultural, ecological and socio-economic.
Research activities are mainly focused on Madagascar and Kyrgyzstan. Over the last two decades the GFD has been involved in particular projects of several other countries, currently also projects in Senegal and Congo are ongoing.
